Vengara

Vengara?

The word Vengara originates from the word 'Ven Kara' which means white land created by moving sea.

We are now in Bolivia and have changed our clothes!

A new photo of Vengara is featured in Yachting Monthly Magazine, March 2008, A to Z guide to used boats, as an example of an Albin Vega!

Yesterday we left Lake Titicaca and got the bus to the amazing city of La Paz!

It's famous for the highest everything, and sits on top of a plateau 3600 metres up.

Here we hope to tackle the world's most dangerous road on mountain bike, yikes!

And if we're feeling brave, may climb through the ice and snow to the top of Huayna Potosi, 6088 metres above sea level!

SEEDS OF HOPE

Whilst in Cusco, Peru, we volunteered at the Seeds of Hope school. It is funded purely by donations and run by volunteers. It was a wonderful experience and the school is trying to raise funds to continue its great work. If you would like to help in any way or make a donation, please click on the link below.
